Talking about the weather.
Hello there! At writing time I'm on my way home to Sweden! Jääj! The weather in Jeju lately has been very up and down. Sunny, cool, hot, rainy, humid and some warnings about a typhoon coming that didn't really come? Anyways... We often talk about the weather and the differences between Jeju and mainland Korea and Sweden and so on, so I made a little silly comic about one of the topics; wind. As I said, it's silly. And not very pretty. XD
...I exaggerated quite a lot as you can understand. >< They usually say that Jeju is abundant in three things: rocks, women and wind. And this is right. However, when I first came here I felt like some of my friends exaggerated a bit about the wind being sooo strong, but while I have been staying in Jeju for almost two years (ok 1,5) I can admit the weather can be harsh. And especially by the coast, of course.
But I grew up thinking that a windy day would have you walking horizontally while gasping for air.. you know, the wind kind of attacks and makes it impossible to exhale right.?? Or was that just me? XD But we don't get any typhoons in Sweden though, only storms... As I said, I exaggerated this. Don't take it seriously. XD Tatah!
