Korean Street Art

Hello there, it's been a while..! There has been some gloomy gray November days lately and why not put some colour to it, shall we? This island is filled with nature and beauty but Jeju city, on the other hand, is quite basic. Not as many cool striking buildings (at least in my opinion) as the bigger cities. Most is basic, slightly grayish concrete. But one thing that illuminates all that concrete is the murals This is of course not only Jeju. Most places I've gone to in Korea is hiding murals and installations a bit everywhere. And it's very charming.

Where I'm from there is not really much like this. Some cool graffiti paintings here and there but what I feel about the murals I see here is that many of them have that warm and cozy feel to them.

It's not always a masterpiece but it makes a difference when walking around town.

I often get curious while taking walks and get like "oh what treasure could I find in that little cozy alley?" 😂 It's also not uncommon with shops, cafés and restaurants to have most of their house covered in art and I just love it! It makes it so much more fun and interesting. Really. 😁

I "collected" some of them and thought why don't I share this? So here are some pics! Enjoy! ;)
