Winter & Ice cream
The autumn is now history for this year and winter has already settled in and sent us tiny tiny snowballs that melted as soon at they touched ground.
I've put together a little collection of our memories this autumn and made it into a small cozy clip for anyone to see..
The days pass so quickly, we are already in the middle of December..!
Since it's cold nowadays we mostly stay in and snuggle up and watch drama most of our free time and I guess maybe that's why the weeks seems to be so short. There only seem to be two days of a week - Friday and Monday - the rest is blurry. XD anyone feeling the same? This Monday me and TY went on a little road trip with my brothers-in-law in quite rough weather. We went to Hamdeok and as soon as we arrived at the beach I jumped out to take a few pics. The windswept sea, the dramatic almost purple clouds and the sunshine illuminating the turquoise water was just a delight to the eyes 😍
FYI - there is no filter on those pictures, I felt like it would be a pity to change them. We also tried to take a group selfie but that was easier said than done with that strong wind blowing everywhere.
As if we hadn't had enough of the cold already we went to a ice cream bar called 'Alaska in Jeju' just a few minutes away from the beach.
Actually I'm one of those who really crave ice cream on a cold winter day and this day was no exception. Yumyum! Though it was on the expensive side (4000w) it was worth it (I didn't pay it tho 😂). They had many flavours but we all had the original milk one and it tasted like real rich fresh cream and it came with a cute little bear shaped cookie sitting in it🐻.
I could add here that several of the whipped creams I find at the supermarkets around here actually taste like soft ice cream, which is very odd since it's used for both baking and cooking (?!). I would even say that this soft ice cream tasted more like cream than the actual cream XD. Anyway it was utterly tasty and I'll be back for more... 😉
