That day we didn't go to Marado

(Basically just spamming some pics again ^^)

Summer has somewhat come to an end and while reflecting on this past summer's little adventures one day came to my mind.

It was a chill day here in Jeju in early summer and we had made plans for taking a little day trip to a place where we had never gone before. We had planned to visit Marado - an island off the southwestern coast of Jeju. However, we only arrived at the harbour to realise that if we would take the ferry we wouldn't be able to make it back the same day. The last ferry back to Jeju goes at 3.55 pm so when going to Marado or Gapado one must remember to go there early or be prepared for staying the night.

I would like to go there another time and watch the night sky which I heard is the best and least light polluted in the Jeju area. Obviously we never went there (hence the post title). So, what did we do then? We started with a small but cozy 'fika' at a pier where TY found a little friend. ^^

And then we kind of just drove along the coast enjoying nature and the beautiful sights.

I feel like Jeju in itself is quite photogenic. Even if one's just out in the middle of nowhere waiting for the bus there could be a beautiful flower field ready for a selfie shower..
