It's been a while..
Fall is about to leave and I feel like it was too short, as always. I have been out there, enjoying, but I'm not really full yet.
I haven't absorbed enough of autumn.
I haven't breathed enough of the cool crisp air & I haven't stomped around in crispy leaves enough.
Wouldn't it have been a bit better to have 4 months of fall and only 2 of winter?
I love winter but mostly during the two first months because February is mainly there to give me time to build up my longing for spring. ^^
Like spring fall is a constant process and keeps changing and that kind of makes me comfortably sleepy and cozy.
Content even when we do nothing.
And that's what we needed to do.
Get out and breathe and do nothing for a little while.
So I just put the kettle on to bring something warm to drink and then went out.
To where?
The plan was no plan and where doesn't really matter much when you just want to breathe. Every day is full of plans and musts so something so easy shouldn't need a plan.
We ended up by the ocean in Dodu .
After slipping around for too long on the surprisingly slippery lava rocks...
...we just sat down with a hot cup of Omija tea and listened to the waves lapping (and one or two airplanes taking off - let's be real, it's right next to the airport XD )..
...and watched the squid-fishing boats slowly make their way out to the horizon where they turn into dazzling stars.
Can you spot them?
One thing that I love with Jeju is that even in November and later in winter one can enjoy some flowers.
I found a strong survivor
I really like the flavor of Omija tea. It reminds me of hot lingonberry-ade. Especially that one that I got in the morning right after waking up at the Ice hotel way up in northern Sweden. One sip seems to be able to warm up a whole shivering body in seconds.
That kind of taste. ^^
A bit sweet, a bit tart and oh, so warm.
