An Ocean Full of Life
I love the ocean.
Especially when I can go around and explore the cliffs and beaches and see what creatures I can find.
In early fall we had a nice day out with the cong in Gimnyeong.
We spent hours jumping around looking for what had been trapped in shallow puddles and pools during ebb.
Out hunting ^^
What did we find?
Hundreds of curious shrimps (yes they are certainly curious and starts to nibble on your feet or fingers if you stay still for more than a few seconds! ^^),
shy little white crabs that hides in the sand and then hurries to the next hideout when found,
a somewhat trapped flatfish
a cute octopus
and even a sea cucumber!
I also spotted many sea urchins but they are not much friendlier than cacti so I rather just let them be.
One of my absolute favorites are hermit crabs 😍 They are adorable when they peek out of their shells!

It was a nice day to remember!... even though I was a bit sad to hear that the occy turned into noodle soup later on... - . -
