Murky Forest
Today we entered the dark murky woods of Saryeoni (사려니숲) and took a (very) quick walk. It was a short walk because one of us was "brave enough" to not bring a jacket outdoors even though it's January and winter and quite chilly. (¬¬)
Who's there?
The brave one started whining after 5-10 min. and so we could only make our way back to the warm and toasty car seats.. ^^
I still enjoyed it though. Today's weather was rather misty and the sun rays that seeped thru the crowns became soft pillars of light in the other so dusky forest.
Whether it's in a forest or through the holes in a fluffy cloud - seeping sunlight is always beautiful.
Apparently there is a word for this in Japanese
- 'komorebi' - meaning something like "when sunshine is filtered through trees"
I really like that there is a word for such a specific thing. :)
