The best view in Jeju city
Hey!
Today the rain is pouring and I just want to stay inside and cuddle with my blanket, but two days ago the sun was shining and the sky was clear and it was just a perfect day to go for a drive along the coast road.
While driving we saw a hill called Dodubong (도두봉) that looked suitable for a nice Sunday stroll. We have passed that spot so many times before but I have never really noticed it.
The four best things about this place is...
1. It is located right next to the water so if one enjoys hopping around the black lava rocks and pretending to be a mermaid that can be done... XD
2. There are a bunch of berry bushes to pick from - mulberries and korean raspberries (산딸기) which is, in my opinion, very different from the common raspberries - both in look and taste.
These raspberries down here was not fully ripened but still sweet with an odd taste similar to carrots?! ^^
3. The top has an open panoramic view of the blue sea, harbor and Hallasan.
4. It's a nice spot to look at the sunset and it's close to the city (at the coast right behind the airport and Sinjeju - in Dodu-dong.)
*Also a bonus is that there were not that many people there. It is not a touristy spot at all.
