Nonplanned horseriding š
Hello diary!
Today is another rainy day here in Jeju and I'm just sitting inside and listening to the rain smattering against the windows and I'd like to share a memory here so I won't forget it because it was such a nice day (except that I got hit with a baseball in my face - we will get to that soon).
It was a day in spring when it was great weather and I think it was a Sunday.
Me and TY we were just outside the house and playing catchball and it ended up (as it sometimes does) with me getting hit by the ball, in the face. š
I wanted to do something else.
'How about a picnic?', I asked TY.
So we ended up in Hamdeok, at the Seoubong beach. And there I saw, as I had seen a few times before, a couple of horses in a small pasture on the hill - a mare and her little foal.
I love horses but I had never gotten the chance to see these two up close so I wanted to go and greet them this time.
There was a man working there and while he was giving them food and water and TY, as always, started to have a friendly conversation with him.
I don't really know why but we ended up on that mare's back. š
It was TY's first time to ride a horse so he was excited. And the view was great.
Sadly, I can't remember the horses names.. (ć ć )
When it was my turn to ride TY followed to take a few pictures and the foal followed him too. So cute! But she actually bit or nibbled on TYs chest so he got a bit grumpy after that. š
When it was time to dismount she (the horse) decided to not let me off but instead take me with her for a visit to the loo first and then let me get off at the nearest rock. š
Afterwards we took a nice walk to the top of Seoubong and had something small to snack on and then we again played some catch ball on the beach.
I really like those little small spontaneous things that just happen and makes a day a bit more gold. š
