Water lilies

Ok. So after a stroll at a sunny yet foggy beach in Hamdeok we ended up at a pond and found these pretty ...water lilies.
Yes, I did hesitate for a moment there XD Are these water lilies or lotus flowers? Actually I didn't know if there is any difference between a lotus flower and a water lily. Did you know? 🐨 Yep. They are different. Very much so ^^ I researched a bit (ööh..I mean googled XD) and the easiest way to tell which flower it is is to take a look at the leaves. If they're resting on the water it's a water lily. If they're above the water - a lotus flower. Like this.
Easy as a baby pancake. 😉 Except for flowers we also found a cute bird friend. And some frogs but they were too shy to say hi to camera. >< 🐸
